Inlaid self-lubricating copper sleeves are typically used in applications requiring a fully self-lubricating copper-based alloy bearing material. Choose from our wide selection of standard sleeve and flange bearings, including metric and imperial sizes, or have us produce custom parts to your exact specifications. Inlaid self-lubricating copper sleeve bearings do not require oil or grease, but form a graphite film between the surfaces to provide a reliable mechanical lubrication barrier. Other features include graphite filled grooves and wear plates. Inlaid self-lubricating copper sleeve bearings can be made of a variety of copper alloys.
1. Completely self-lubricating: no oil or grease required The
self-lubricating bearing properties allow bearings to be used where oiling is difficult, expensive to implement, and where grease/oil cannot be used. Excellent lubrication even at low speeds and under high loads.
2. Excellent wear resistance: It has excellent wear resistance under severe working conditions such as heavy load, low speed, reciprocating motion, oscillating motion and intermittent motion where it is difficult to form an oil film.
3. Low friction coefficient: 0.04 to 0.2 (typ.): Self-lubrication using special embedded solid lubricants reduces friction.
4. Wide operating temperature range: -40℃ to 500℃, showing excellent performance under high and low temperature conditions.
5. Corrosion and chemical resistance: Performance is not affected by water and corrosive chemicals.
6. Designed to exceed your requirements: High-precision products with tight tolerances.
7. Cost Competitiveness: Reduced maintenance, replacement and final product downtime costs due to long service life compared to similar self-lubricating products.
