IB94 self-lubricating products
IB94 self-lubricating bearing is an integral sliding bearing that combines the superior mechanical properties of CuAl9Fe4 aluminum bronze alloy with the excellent lubrication performance of solid lubricants. Its main features and parameters are as follows:
Matrix material:
- IB94 self-lubricating bearings use high-performance aluminum bronze CuAl9Fe4 as the matrix, which has high strength, good friction reduction and good corrosion resistance
- The chemical composition of the matrix mainly includes: copper (Cu: 843~90%), aluminum (Al: 8~10%), iron (Fe: 2~4%), and a small amount of manganese, silicon, phosphorus, lead, tin and zinc
Lubrication mechanism:
- Graphite-based solid lubricants are embedded in the aluminum bronze matrix, and the solid lubricants are arranged on the surface of the copper alloy matrix according to a certain proportion and regularity
- During the operation of the equipment, the solid lubricant can be released to the friction surface to the maximum extent to form a solid lubricating film, reduce the friction coefficient, reduce wear, and do not reduce the bearing capacity of the copper alloy matrix

- Tensile strength: σb ≥ 540 MPa
- Elongation: δ10 ≥ 15%, δ5 ≥ 17%
- Hardness: 110~190HB
- Linear expansion coefficient: 162(10-6/K)
- Thermal conductivity: 586(W/(mK))
Application scenarios:
- IB94 self-lubricating bearings are particularly suitable for occasions where it is difficult to form oil film lubrication and where lubricants cannot be added due to conditions
- It can be used in low-speed and heavy-load, inconvenient maintenance, and no oil supply conditions, such as injection molding machines, mining machinery, etc
- Applicable to the temperature range between sub-zero temperature and 300℃ above zero
- Suitable for occasions where oil cannot be added to avoid contamination or where oil is not easy to add in a closed structure; occasions where it is difficult to form a lubricating oil film due to reciprocating, swinging motion, frequent starting, braking at low speed and heavy load, short-distance sliding, and in water or corrosive liquids; occasions where the working environment is harsh and the lubrication effect of oil injection is difficult to play
Initial lubrication requirements:
- Since the self-lubricating effect of solid lubricants may not be fully exerted at the beginning of operation, pre-lubrication is required in the initial stage, such as adding lubricating oil, applying grease or spraying dry lubricating film
